Dylan soundbite[edit]

Thanks, Moisejp. I think Tangled Up In Blue is a good one (since many rate BOTT as Dylan's greatest album), and You Gotta Serve Somebody would be good for the gospel phase. (It's Grammy material, as you mention.) I think Things Have Changed is a significant song to bring story up to date. Perhaps what would be sufficient for now. If you add audio, I can help to write captions.

As for Basement Tapes, I'm glad that The Basement Tapes (Sessions) had been re-directed. What should happen to that material? It occurred to me it's useful having a list of all the songs. Maybe a separate entry - List of Basement Tapes Songs - would be appropriate. Because such a long list in Basement Tapes articles might be unwieldy. I've decided to put this comment on the Basement Tapes Talk Page, that would be the appropriate place for it, and then all our discussion can be in one place. You can find it here: [[1]] best wishes Mick gold (talk) 08:28, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sound bites, Moisejp, your Lay Lady Lay caption is fine IMHO :) Mick gold (talk) 22:47, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Moisejp, I've now changed name of what used to be The Basement Tapes (sessions) to List of Basement Tapes songs. You can comment here: [[2]] Mick gold (talk)

Hello again. I've been re-writing the List of Basement Tapes songs and have finally removed the warning template about lack of references, since it now has quite a few. I think we can pat ourselves on the back for turning two poor articles into two well-written and useful ones, with citations. One disappointment for me is that list of 'Contents' does not appear on List of Basement Tapes songs. There is a list of 'Contents' below the lead paragraph on The Basement Tapes. I also got stuck into re-writing article on I'm Not There, which contained every breach of WP:BLP imaginable. best wishes Mick gold (talk) 18:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Moisejp, sorry you're feeling a little directionless lately. I've not been over-active on Wikipedia 'cause I've been too busy at work. I think both Basement Tapes articles are in good shape. I'm not sure that putting a "Notes" column into List of Basement Tapes songs is a good idea. As you say, you won't find something for every song and you don't want to reproduce Griffin. Heylin's new book, Revolution In the Air, Vol One, is worth a look & has some interesting historical material. I think you can rest content that Basement Tapes has been turned into 2 very adequate articles. My philosophy is to write stuff only when I have time & or energy. Now I must run Mick gold (talk) 06:55, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vogue Theatre[edit]

Hi Moisejp, my article on the Vogue Theatre was actually a school project which I've since completed but never posted. Feel free to make changes - the information is a year old and may be outdated by now. Konnetikut (talk) 22:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Library and Archives Canada image[edit]

Hello.

The Library & Archives Canada web site is somewhat ambiguous on the usage rights. See here for details. I uploaded that image with the understanding that there were no restrictions on usage well before the issue was sorted out. In fact, the copyright status of that image should probably be re-evaluated and it might have to be deleted. Sorry that I can't be of any more help. -- JamesTeterenko (talk) 05:39, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wenner quote[edit]

thanks for your comments! [3]. I tried dropping in the Wenner quote & you were correct to point out that it didn't work. best, Mick gold (talk) 10:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
