I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:28, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help - Watchlist numbers[edit]

{{helpme}}

I have a question: What do the numbers refer to after my edits on my 'watch' list. Sometimes they are negative, and sometimes they are positive numbers. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mm03gt (talkcontribs) 21:22, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's the difference in size of the edited article, in number of characters...positive if it gets bigger. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 20:09, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The numbers appearing on watchlists and the recent changes page show the increase or decrease in the number of bytes in the page. On the English Wikipedia, this is normally the same as how many characters have been added or removed from a page in that edit. A positive green number (+xx) indicates the number of bytes that have been added, and a negative red number (-xx) indicates the number of bytes that have been removed.
The above was copied from Wikipedia:Added or removed characters (also found on Help:Watching pages). Lightsup55 ( T | C ) 20:15, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leaks are unreliable by definition, thus have no place in Wikipedia. Will (talk) 20:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Independence Day![edit]

As you are a nice Wikipedian, I just wanted to wish you a happy Independence Day! And if you are not an American, then have a happy day and a wonderful weekend anyway!  :) Your friend and colleague, --Happy Independence Day! Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 00:46, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

Hello, I have proposed that an article that you have contributed to, Beatles Harmonix Project be deleted. The reason for this is that another editor created an identical article and has now merged the contents of the article you contributed to into the one he created. Since the new article contains more information I have proposed deletion of this one. If you have any concerns (for instance about merging histories and merging talk pages ala WP:Merge and delete) please let us know at the appropriate article talk pages. Thank you. -Thibbs (talk) 01:22, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
