Hot AC

It's the only one of its kind (for now) but that's sure to change in the near term so I've cleaned up {{Hot Adult Contemporary Radio Stations in Wisconsin}}, renamed it to match the other several hundred format-in-state templates, created a holding category, and applied it to all of the articles left in the template after the cleanup. (Clearly, keeping the missing U.S. radio station articles list on my watchlist is just a way to generate interesting plumbing work for myself.) - Dravecky (talk) 04:39, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Too funny. It didn't even occur to me when I was using the tool to create that article, but why would there be a need to distinguish Hot AC stations from AC stations for purposes of a format template? Is it that big of a difference? You know what else I've been noticing as I've been plodding around? A lot of these templates - both the format ones and the market ones - haven't been categorized at all, and even more of them haven't been project tagged on their talk pages. Seems like everywhere I turn, there's another clean-up task to tackle... Mlaffs (talk) 06:27, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
If there are templates in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania or DC that need categories, talkpage project tags and the like, please let me know. - NeutralHomerTalk • 06:36, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Noticed you updated this page. There is some of the information you updated that needs to be updated on the station pages. I was working on the WV pages, but real life got in the way and I haven't been able to get back to updating. Also, do give the other state radio station lists a look. California's (last I looked) is insanely out of date. - NeutralHomerTalk • 06:29, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Actually, I started on the weekend going state by state in reverse alpha order — getting the info in the state lists up to date, making sure the articles in each state don't have redundant city/state categories, and creating articles to fill in the state's redlinks. Wyoming and Wisconsin are done, and now I just need to create the one or two stations for West Virginia that haven't been done yet. It's what you call a long-term project... ;>) Mlaffs (talk) 12:22, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, most projects on WP:WPRS are long-term projects :) Good luck :) - NeutralHomerTalk • 20:51, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Can you spend a few minutes bringing KMGC up to a decent stub? While cleaning out Category:Radio stubs I found a single-purpose account that had created KMGC-FM and KMGC with a counterfactual about a supposed station in Chatsworth, California, while the real KMGC is in Camden, Arkansas. I'd do it myself but elbows, alligators, etc. Thanks! - Dravecky (talk) 19:51, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Sure thing. Not home until late tonight, but I'll take care of it tomorrow if I can't get to it today. Mlaffs (talk) 22:18, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Well, it's your basic tool-created stub article, but it has an infobox, categories, and some references. It's a footprint, if nothing else. Mlaffs (talk) 19:53, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey Mlaffs, I am working with User:K1goalie (a new user) and trying to get the Bethel Lutheran Church (Manassas, VA) page brought back up. It was previously speedy deleted. Could you "bring it back to life" and move it to K1goalie's userspace so that he may work on it? He and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...NeutralHomerTalk • 23:16, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Many thanks for the help! Truly appreciate it. K1goalie (talk) 19:31, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
