You have recently participated in discussion at an AFD for a broadcast station. I have recently posted the above topic on the talk page of the notability guideline for organizations and companies, to see if there is interest in adding language related to the notability of radio and TV broadcast stations to that guideline. Your input would be most welcome. Thanks. Edison (talk) 01:30, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

KQRZ-LP

I think KQRZ might be silent or even defunct. These websites say the station is silent/defunct. Though I don't see anything in the FCC file for them to be silent or completely gone. - NeutralHomerTalk • 21:24, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Can't really tell. You're right - nothing in the FCC file that suggests they're silent, and they got an extension to an STA to broadcast at 101.5 only just a little over a year ago. If they've gone silent, that'll turn up eventually. Mlaffs (talk) 21:33, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, just kinda weird. Normally the FCC is pretty quick about getting STA (slient transmission authories...what is with the multiple STAs?) but this one is just slow. Just thought I would let ya know :) Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • 21:46, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
