Disambiguation link notification for April 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Baienfurt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Berg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:03, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Minden500,

This English language Wikipedia article appears to be a translation of the German language Wikipedia's article de:Jüdische Gemeinde Worms.

If that is so, it is required to be "attributed" - please see Help:Translation#License requirements

Please let me know if I can assist you with with this, or anything else related to the English language Wikipedia.

I jotted in the first edit summary "From German entry". I regret if that was not adequate. I appended it to the talk page, if there is something further I should do, please inform me. Minden500 (talk) 10:16, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay; we are all new at "inter-wiki" translations at some point and now you know what the first Edit Summary should be on the next article you translate from some Wikipedia into EN-WP. Did you know that EN-WP has a WikiProject dedicated to inter-wiki translations? Here you can ask questions or make comments regarding articles within this scope. You are warmly welcome to join the conversation: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Intertranswiki. Happy editing! --Rosiestep (talk) 19:12, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Minden5001 and Rosiestep: Required attribution added at Talk:Jewish Community of Erfurt. Also, at fr.wp, it appears that they've decided that editors can refer to each other as "tu" instead of "vous". Is there something similar over at de.wp? Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 09:59, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I do not grasp the inquiry with French Wikipedia. With regards to attribution, Help:Translation#License requirements declares that "Additionally you may:
(b) Place the template Translated page" on the talk page, but it is not compulsory. Minden500 (talk) 10:10, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
