Hi,

I'm proposing to change a section that refers to the stability of ZIF-8. In the passage on drug delivery it states: "ZIF-8 is very stable in water and aqueous sodium hydroxide solutions but decompose quickly in acidic solutions, indicating a pH sensitivity that could aid in the development of ZIF-based drug-release platforms."

This is seemingly false as demonstrated by: DOI: 10.1016/j.micromeso.2018.12.035 DOI: 10.1016/j.memsci.2015.03.023

It seems previous reports of the stability of ZIF-8 in water has been down to incorrect sampling methods and a "monkey-see monkey-do" style of reporting where people don't test the stability since it was previously stated as stable without real evidence.
