Hello Mike, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw you have been silently working on the page on numerical continuation; and you've done a great job! It is rather unfortunate that you haven't had any contact with other Wikipedians except for that stupid robot. You may not know this, but there are quite a number of mathematicians around here. We have gathered in an informal group called Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics. We check regularly for articles in mathematics categories so I discovered your article when it was put in Category:Mathematics.

Read the list of participants of the WikiProject to see who else is around, and add your name if you want. There are no obligations or entry requiremens, it's just a sign that you're interested in working on the maths articles here. The page Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Editor resources contains various links where you can find more information about this place and its customs. Browse through them if you feel like it. Don't worry too much about them, though; the important part is writing articles. Others will guide you through the details. For instance, our Wikipedia:Naming convention states that article names are usually without capitals so I moved your article from "Numerical Continuation" to "Numerical continuation".
