County Upper School[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your edits to the article on County Upper School. I've removed quite a lot of what you added I'm afraid as it needs verification using third party verifiable sources to meet the guidelines at WP:WPSCH/AG. My feeling was that as your additions stood they were unjustifiable from a WP:NPOV perspective and heavily promoted the school. If you can find citations for the points you make (and avoid duplication of points within the article) then that's splendid - please add them into the article in the standard way -- Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:28, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, really good job at getting this article sourced up just now. There's probably plenty we can still do to it, school articles often feel like promo pieces if you're not carefully. But great work so far!! Blue Square Thing (talk) 08:52, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
To add to what I just put on the article talk page, I think we're at the stage now where we can start to take this a bit further. With respect to that I wonder if you might be interested in working on a couple more articles? There are plenty of school stubs across Suffolk and Norfolk as well as a bunch of villages around Bury that could use expanding? Cheers. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:26, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Suffolk County Music Service, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:14, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 24[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited County Upper School, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages English and Stratford (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Academy Sign 1306.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned image, no encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
