Category:Rock albums[edit]

Hi there. Regarding this edit, note that it is not appropriate to add individual albums to Category:Rock albums. See WP:ALBUM#Categories for more information. Have a nice day. --PEJL 15:52, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. San Nicolò di Bari[edit]

Hi Andrea,

Can you explain this edit to Archdiocese of Genoa which moved the parish from Gavi to Arquata Scrivia? I see that you live close by in Vignole Borbera, but the CCI link to the parish here does indicate that the parish is in the comune of Gavi. If the CCI database is wrong—which it could be—we will have to add an explanatory footnote. But I see that this page from www.comuni-italiani.it, also identifies Sottovalle as a frazione (or other locality) belonging to Gavi.

Cheers, and nice to see somebody from the province of Alessandria—two old friends of mine used to live in Valmadonna, near Alessandria, and one of them is still in Casale—,Ian Spackman (talk) 12:26, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve added a footnote to the Diocese article, referencing Cambiano i confini tra Gavi e Arquata Scrivia (AL) on Crpnet, and will update the articles on the two communes. —Ian Spackman (talk) 20:35, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox Central Bank[edit]

Hi, I was on Vandal Patrol. Sorry for ruining your hard work. Sorry I don't know how to put the template in the Italian Wikipedia. Good luck. Nice city you live in, I visted there in 1978. --Alchemist Jack (talk) 12:49, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Simona Senoner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. BurtAlert (talk) 18:27, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Giovanni Battista Borea d'Olmo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:24, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Gloomylights.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Gloomylights.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:07, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File:Carta Identita FTT.jpg missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 09:18, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
