Fair use rationale for File:Barbara probst exp 30.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Barbara probst exp 30.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:30, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Andre aciman call me by your name.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Andre aciman call me by your name.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:09, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wingnut (politics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wingnut (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Andre aciman.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Whirling Dervishes (band), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on R.P. Eddy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/R. P. Eddy. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, Meenween,
This article was recently deleted in an AFD discussion. The appropriate way to overcome a "Delete" decision in an AFD is to create a new version of the article in Draft space and submit it to Articles for Creation for review, to make sure the new version overcomes the issues that caused the previous version to be deleted, and, hopefully approval from an AFC reviewer. Putting a recreation of a deleted article directly in main space, especially so soon after an AFD delete decision guaranteed it would be tagged for speedy deletion, CSD G4. I recommend you do this in the future should you wish to create new versions of articles deleted through deletion discussions. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:52, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the heads up! I will standby for that route if this does not make it. Duly noted for the next time. Meenween (talk) 00:32, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the article to draft space where you can work on improving it. At the moment it won't pass review because it reads like an advert. Deb (talk) 09:08, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
