John Cheyne[edit]

Hi, Medievalduck. In regards to the request you filed at WP:RM, there are two issues. First, we don't use honorific titles like "Sir" in article titles, so it would have to be simply John Cheyne. Second, if you click on the previous link, you'll see that that location is a disambiguation page, so the article will have to be disambiguated in some way, such as John Cheyne (Member of Parliament) or something along those lines. If you agree that the title is suggested, let me know and I'll move it (you can't move pages yet, because your account has to be 4 days old before it becomes autoconfirmed). Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 08:17, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all your article contributions; could you please use references? Give me a poke if you need help with getting around the way Wikipedia references things. Ironholds (talk) 10:06, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

John Cheyne (Master of the Horse)[edit]

Thank you for you comments re John Cheyne (Master of the Horse). Could you review the article again - I have moved your comments to the talk page and removed the disputed facts. There seems to be more links in the article to the wrong family. Feel free to remove them but do possibly review the linked articles for incorrect back links before you do so. It may also be helpful to add a comment on the talk page with your reasoning to avoid the information coming back at a later stage. Fyi, I think I am descended from the Chesham Bois Cheynes and have some victorian documents relating to the family.PeterEastern (talk) 06:09, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
