hi there and welcome

Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm sure you can agree that giving every word its own line, like you did on Heterochorista aura, isn't exactly practical. I suspect you were making some test edits to see if you could indeed edit the page and what effect doing such a thing would have. Good news: you can edit! However, next time you want to make tests like that, please use the Sandbox, it's meant for that purpose, or create a sandbox in your own userspace if you don't want other testing editors to interrupt whatever you're testing. Sure it was a test. But hey, when the test was finished, it looked exactly the same. If it weren't for other editors stalking new editors to see what they did, nobody would have read the article and found it to be any different. Max Browser (talk) 19:01, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, if you would look at the article history, you'd see that I had edited it not two minutes prior to your edits, so it was rather near the top of my watchlist and my contributions. ;) No stalking of new editors, just double-checking my own edits.
Furthermore, while on the reading side, nothing may have changed, putting every word on its own line makes things rather annoying on the editing side of things. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 19:13, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
