Cladogram[edit]

Hi LadfromButtonwillow. Did you just roll that cladogram on smelts, by yourself, on the fly? If so, then well done! You're going well :) --Geronimo20 (talk) 12:00, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I've been interested in phylogeny lately, it was fun trying to figure out how it's done on WP.

Sandbox[edit]

Hi, your /sandbox is currently appearing in categories like Category:Genetics journals. As you don't need this draft any longer, the simple solution is to clear your sandbox.

btw, well done with all of your articles about journals, and I see you are creating redirects as well! We could use your help over at WP:AJ. You may as well add yourself as a project member if you intend to remain focused on this area of Wikipedia. John Vandenberg (chat) 11:49, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't know that sandbox tags were functional... Thanks for letting me know! ManfromButtonwillow (talk) 03:15, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No need to be sorry! You didn't break anything. ;-) John Vandenberg (chat) 03:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for updating the above page. :) --mav (please help review urgent FAC and FARs) 16:59, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Health effects of radon[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Health effects of radon. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Radon. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Radon - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. armagebedar (talk) 05:58, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings![edit]

Greetings, ManfromButtonwillow! I hope you have a good day! Wilhelmina Will (talk) 20:31, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox[edit]

Hi. Your sandbox4 page is unintentionally included in categories. I commented out the categories code, but that didn't seem to correct it. Do you still need the page, or can it be blanked or deleted? If not, can you disable the category code? Thanks. --Bsherr (talk) 14:53, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kit Fox[edit]

If you Google "Kit Fox," this appears:

"Kit Fox - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Kit fox (Vulpes macrotis) is a fox species living at Wendy's, Burger King, and McDonalds. Its range extends from the southwestern New York City into ...

Hunting and eating habits - Mating - Subspecies - References en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kit_Fox - Cached - Similar"

This does not appear in the text of the article...I can't find it to elliminate. You smart enough, to fix this?

Zuvaruvi (talk) 04:48, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that it was a bit of vandalism that has already been removed. I don't know how google extracts those little blurbs, but perhaps there is a time lag? I don't know what can be done about it! Good catch though ManfromButtonwillow (talk) 07:40, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sacagawea dollar[edit]

Hi ManfromButtonwillow. I just wanted to let you know that I responded over at the FAC page for Sacagawea dollar. Also, thanks for taking the time to leave some thoughts and suggestions! Your input is really appreciated.-RHM22 (talk) 23:40, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I just wanted to thank you for the great edits you've made to Sacagawea dollar. They really improve the readability considerably!-RHM22 (talk) 20:33, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reading it! I always expect those articles to be kind of boring to people who aren't interested in coins. I like improving the quality of the numismatic articles, which aren't usually as good as they should be. Right now I'm working on improving dollar coin articles with the eventual goal of turning them into a featured topic.-RHM22 (talk) 20:52, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you're interested, Wehwalt and I have been working on an article entitled Kennedy half dollar, and a PR has been requested. We plan to nominate for FA eventually. Please don't feel obligated, but feel free to look over it if you're interested in these subjects!-RHM22 (talk) 03:42, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Logarithm FAC[edit]

Hi, you commented at Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates/Logarithm/archive1, but did not declare whether you support or oppose the nomination. SandyGeorgia, FAC delegate suggested that I ask you, if you want to do so now. (If you don't want to declare either way, simply disregard this message.) Thanks, Jakob.scholbach (talk) 15:12, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Hey there, just a quick thank you for catching that speeling error in Moonlight Madness, every pair of eyes is a bonus. :) Someoneanother 14:30, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Science lovers wanted![edit]

Science lovers wanted!
Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! SarahStierch (talk) 03:54, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cabbage article[edit]

Hi ManfromButtonwillow - First, I want to thank you again for all of your input on Lettuce. It has now passed FAC! I am planning to start work on Cabbage next, and was wondering if you had the Encyclopedia of Food and Culture chapter for cabbage that you could share with me, as you did for lettuce? It would be much appreciated if you could. Thanks in advance, Dana boomer (talk) 01:13, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much! No problem on the lettuce FAC, there was plenty of input... If you have any interest in giving input on the cabbage article, I plan to have it moved into article space within a week or so and up for GA status by the end of the month. That's the planned timeline, at any rate :) Dana boomer (talk) 13:04, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Benefit Corps[edit]

I did an update of that Benefit corporations map you asked for back in December, please check it out and make sure I got the states right. Kmusser (talk) 18:42, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
