Hey ya'll, let's use this page as our main space to document changes, additions, edits, etc. for our article ("Clara Schumann"). I think we can still use our individual sandboxes but we should also be able to edit directly into each other's, so feel free to use this sandbox too if you'd like. I added a short little line on Clara's mom remarrying and moving out to Berlin, limiting their contact. Also fixed a small mistake on her age when she gave a recital at Carus' place, and added a citation. --Mammagamma (talk) 18:27, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Draft List of Tasks

Hi team! Looking at the article and the rubric for our assignment, I have identified some options for the 3 "substantial changes" we are assigned to make. I was thinking we could each tackle at least one of these. I will place the sections in question in the sandbox for us to edit!

Improving synopsis, both writing quality and to reflect scope of article

Just fixed up the synopsis to make it more neutral, added a citation regarding their relationship to Brahms that just links to a compilation of the letters they wrote to each other, and added really brief mentioning of her compositions. --Mammagamma (talk) 20:42, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding material from "family life" section into "biography", to eventually remove redundant family life section (this section also needs citations badly!!)
Similarly, move section on later career into biography
Reorganizing "Repertoire" section to focus more clearly on performing career (right now, it is very unclear. Maybe designing a table would be helpful?)

I going to start working on 2 (combining family life with biography). Please comment with which you would like to work on.

Hi all,

I am going to work on moving Later Career section into biography. Also, I think it would be clearer if we remove the list performances from Repertoire. Or simply separate the two into Repertoire and Performances. In any case, we need more information about her performing career.
