November 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Vere Bird has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. neuro(talk) 17:00, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Am I to assume that the person responding is not the person who made those edits? neuro(talk) 17:26, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On that basis, may I ask whether it is you or the other user that intends to use this account? neuro(talk) 17:29, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Just wanted to check, we have even had admins who have had this done to them (one once vandalised the main page), so it is not unusual, but it is indeed preventable. Since we cannot see through to who we are talking to, I am going to assume good faith that you are not the vandal; and also ask if it is possible that you could log out when not using the computer to avoid problems like this again? It could save slips like this in the future. neuro(talk) 17:34, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to hear that, and welcome to Wikipedia, by the way. :) neuro(talk) 17:40, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Libertarian Party UK.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Libertarian Party UK.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:13, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
