Welcome[edit]

Hello, Mad'ouk, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

August 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Nazism, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. As I assume you are aware, there is a concerted effort ongoing to censor facts about the Nazis which are considered inconvenient to some contemporary political groups. Please do not participate in this. It is politically motivated vandalism. If you are not sure what I am talking about then please check out the ongoing discussion of this on the article's Talk page. You will find the same thing on several related articles. If this is not enough to make you weep then check out the archives of those Talk pages. You will see that this vandalism has been going on for many years with a mixture of deliberate propagandists and very confused people taking part in it. If you were tricked or confused into participating in this then please don't worry. Just don't do it again and you will be fine. OTOH, if you really do believe that this sort of behaviour is justified then please have a think about what that implies about you. DanielRigal (talk) 18:59, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Nazism, you may be blocked from editing. DanielRigal (talk) 19:12, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please make sure never to mark a significant and controversial edit to a sensitive article as "minor". That has the appearance of being deliberately deceptive. "minor" edits are things like spelling corrections and improvements to grammar, certainly not what you did. --DanielRigal (talk) 19:34, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
