Ku Klux Klan[edit]

Hello, thanks for your note here. The KKK page is controversial and commonly targeted for vandalism, so is patrolled a bit more aggressively than most pages. However, after hearing your reasoning, I do agree with you, and I'd like to apologise for not taking more time to properly consider the change before. I do have a couple of minor reservations - first, that it would remove information from the article that they were like a fraternal organization in many ways; and second that saying they are terrorists would duplicate some of the other text in the opening paragraph, which later says "...often used terrorism, violence and acts of intimidation..." That said, I'd be happy for you to re-add it, but please leave a note on the talk page so others can see your reasoning too. --h2g2bob 00:57, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
