A tag has been placed on Spot The Sailor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Oh Teacher (cartoon) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 18:48, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK[edit]

Listen, I know I probably made a mistake in hindsight tagging Oh Teacher. However, please do not vandalize my user page over it. That's not going to help your cause- focus on improving the article. It's a subject I know nothing about, so please, relax. If you have a response, please post it here so we can keep any discussion in one place. The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 20:27, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no big deal. I know that being new here can be stressful. I'm not angry at you or anything- I don't hold grudges over the Internet. I don't know much about your subject of choice, so I kinda shot from the hip- I had just gotten finished cleaning out a whole raft of attack pages, so I was a bit... bloodthirsty. I myself am new at vandal fighting, and checking new pages is a big part of that, so I made a mistake. Hope you like it here!! The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 00:06, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. When you write comments on talk pages, you should sign it by typing four tildes. See you around!! The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 00:06, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just checked out that video, and I found it quite entertaining. Thanks, and keep up the good work!! The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 01:59, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, thanks!! I wasn't in it for the barnstar, but that's really nice anyways. See you! The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 19:16, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'll have to take you up on that offer, hopefully soon. The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 23:05, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your (deleted) cartoon articles[edit]

Good day. I'm sorry that I had to delete your articles, really, I am. It's simply that you didn't establish notability (ie, why they were relevant) and they also lacked any sources. I'd suggest that you add some, as I noticed that you did write some articles about Disney movies, which are by nature of fact notable. It would be great if you continued working on these articles (such as Oh Teacher (cartoon)) because if you could expand it to 1500 characters and add enough references, it can be added to the Did You Know... section on the Main Page(!!!). Worth a shot, right?

Anyway, sorry again. Please establish notability and add sources here on out, and you shouldn't have to deal with me or others contesting your articles' notability. Thanks, BobAmnertiopsisChatMe! 04:57, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

I always drop by here once in a while to see if you've started editing again; I hope you do come back sometime. I have to say, I've been watching some of the old Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoons lately, and I truly enjoy them. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:12, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
