I've decided to sign off Wikipedia because admins refuse to spend enough time to sort out legitimate users (who have contributed in the past) from trolls whose handles were created to perpetuate a single POV. It makes me lose faith entirely in this system. Wikipedia will degenerate into a mass of completely biased, untrustworthy information.

  • Speaking as, I think, the admin you refer to, I am sorry to have given offense and am sorry to see you go. Dpbsmith (talk) 17:37, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide evidence of GO WHARTON being a sockpuppet[edit]

I believe your speculation that User:GO WHARTON was a sockpuppet of User:JDMBAHopeful is correct. Please see my comment at [1]. I know your page says that you're not on Wikipedia anymore, but in case you're still monitoring this discussion, please add your comments there. I don't like the idea of any school's students vandalizing Wikipedia, but the idea that they're trying to get a different school in trouble for it is completely unacceptable. An article that you have been involved in editing, Ivy League business schools, has been listed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ivy League business schools. Please look there to see why this is, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
