Thank you for the lovely Welcome Shiftchange :)
Can I reply to you here like this? or should I go to your talk page and say hi?
Thank you for the links to all that info! I have read through most of it - being a wiki editor is LOTS more complex then I thought it will be! Wow! I hope I dont make too many mistakes :)

You can reply on either mine or your own page. Your edit will appear on my watchlist, since by default pages I edit get automatically added to my watchlist. You aren't expected to learn everything all at once. Don't be too concerned about making mistakes as others will most likely make corrections.
I want to take this opportunity to suggest a small but important task which you may enjoy. Since population figures are a key fact for geographical articles the Census figure should be mentioned in the lead and ideally in the infobox if there is one. This edit of mine shows what needs to happen. So for Belli Park, Queensland we would need a sentence mentioning the year, census and population followed by a reference. In this case we have a template for the citation. The example shows you the formatting for the infobox as well. The latest population figure from the ABS is available at http://www.abs.gov.au/census. The id for the template appears in the ABS web site address and after the word code just under the place name. After Belli Park it would be good to expand outwards adding the population to Sunshine Coast suburbs that don't have it or which need updating. Another good idea is to check the map which appears on the ABS page and note any major geographical features such as river, highways which might be there and then mention them in the article.
Also we don't really want random galleries of photos on articles. As well those links in the References section of Belli Park would be more suited to an External links section, leaving the References section for inline citations to appear. We generally don't place external links in the body text either. - Shiftchange (talk) 10:02, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your input Swiftchange! I had no idea that this Wikipedia stuff was so complex - it might take me a while to get the hang of it! Thank you for that link to census info - I was trying to find just that! Government websites are so hard to navigate - you are very clever :) I am keen to make those edits you have suggested, as soon as I have some time - I will do some more work on Bell Park :)
