Proposed deletion of Individual and Society[edit]
The article Individual and Society has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- non notable journal not included in any selective databases.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - Thank you, I've read WP:NJournals guidelines and I've come to conclusion to support proposal for deletion. As far as I know, there is no "significant coverage in independent reliable secondary sources" (as well as reason mentioned in deletion proposal tag). I was able to find few mentions about journal, probably most notable one mentioning it as one of Slovak scholarly periodicals which covers inderdisciplinary methods applied in Slovak historiography and social sciences (pp. 79-80) and the other mentioning it was first Slovak electronic academic journal in social sciences (p. 246). So I agree with deletion under WP:G7. I may include some information about the journal in article about SAS (or maybe later about Institute of Social Sciences of SAS). Or may brief info about the journal be included in some list (of open access journals, maybe)? P.S. I am sorry I didn't make myself familiar with WP:NJournals guidelines first.--Lišiak (talk) 02:05, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
