Mosque images[edit]

Hello. Why are you removing the images in all those mosque articles? Gogolwold (talk) 14:22, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gogolwold Because these are public buildings that were built less than 50 years ago, see this for more details. Leo1pard (talk) 16:47, 21 January 2020 (UTC); edited 17:39, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So at the risk of what about, why are there photos in the Burj Khalifa article? Or Louvre Abu Dhabi. Or Sheikh Zayed Mosque?Gogolwold (talk) 18:46, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Gogolwold, read the licence in File:Burj_Khalifa.jpg. The photos are in English Wikipedia and not allowed to be in commons and there is a permission from the author.--SharʿabSalam▼ (talk) 18:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

More versus articles for you to consider[edit]

I see you contributed to Tiger versus lion and have also created Draft:Bear versus bull. I have some more suggestions. Have you considered:

I hope this helps. Natureium (talk) 23:37, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If there are multiple WP:RS for those, then I could. Leo1pard (talk) 04:44, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Black Demon Shark" listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

A discussion is taking place to address the redirect Black Demon Shark. The discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 May 3#Black Demon Shark until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Hog Farm (talk) 23:47, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Leo1pard. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "History of lions in Mesopotamia".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 09:48, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A conversation to get out of certain disputes that we found ourselves in[edit]

السلام عليكم،

Firstly Tmason101, I agree with you that the Qur'an does not strictly say that the Earth is flat, but a problem is not every person who identifies himself as a Muslim will believe everything that the Qur'an says, then publishes books or pieces of information about his POV, which then could be treated as WP:Reliable sources in Wikipedia, but this problem is not unique to Muslims. For instance, you both probably know that any kind of violence is forbidden in Buddhism, but obviously, the Samurai warriors of Japan, or Shaolin martial artists of China would not see it that way, or wouldn't like to see it that way, and since WP:RS have been published about them, Wikipedia would value them no less than what original Buddhist texts say. As for Muslims, if Muslims had strictly obeyed the Qur'an, then sects or movements, like Wahhabi-Sunnism or Twelver Shi'ism, wouldn't exist in the first place, would they?

And VenusFeuerFalle, you're a gnostic-panantheist, liberal, Sufi-Sunni mystic, right? Leo1pard (talk) 10:00, 23 June 2020 (UTC) edited 10:02, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

VenusFeuerFalle, before edit-warring to push your somewhat anti-Qur'anic WP:POV, without considering what WP:RS say that may contradict your POV, or speaking elsewhere to avoid talking in front of the others here, before giving someone else like Faissaloo or Muhammadahmad79 an advice on what to do or what not to do which is relevant to content about Islam (the main book of which is the Qur'an) in Wikipedia, answer my question about why you approached the Arabic Qur'an the way that you did. You're a gnostic-panantheist, liberal, Sufi-Sunni mystic, right? Leo1pard (talk) 13:14, 23 June 2020 (UTC); edited 13:28, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

VenusFeuerFalle prefers to take the dispute to Talk:Iblis, fine. Leo1pard (talk) 15:36, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Tmason101, Talk:Muhammadahmad79 Look at this, VenusFeuerFalle likes to either misinterpret or ignore what the Qur'an says, besides showing WP:Bias against WP:RS that contradict his POV! After showing him a passage of the Qur'an that contradicts his POV, he lies that it doesn't say what it clearly says and that I have used WP:OR! Leo1pard (talk) 18:29, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Thank you for helping me tackle the inaccurate information.

Category:Hills of Sharjah[edit]
