Bubble bobble[edit]

Re: "You want to help with creating articles for those missing bubble bobble games?" - I'll add what I can, although I haven't played most of them! I have the Saturn versions of Bust-A-Move 2 (which is Puzzle Bobble 2X?) and 3 and an old NES copy of Chack'n'Pop. I probably won't be able to provide much more content than I have for Bubble Symphony though. ThomasHarte 17:10, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Umbrella Corporation[edit]

Please do not re-add "History", it is believed to be copyright violation. I have checked the history for the the edit, and it was added by Driz at 10:39, on the 16 of April 2005 with no notice if it was his or what not. I have found the same information on www.rehorror.com and [1], so until the information is found to NOT be in violation of any copyright, it stays off the article. If you revert again I will have to report the article as a possible copyright violation. Thank you. Havok (T/C) 18:51, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

First off, you can clearly see I've mentioned one of the site on the discussion page
"I have completly removed "History" seeing as no reference is given and the info is clearly taken from other web-sites, books etc. Example site Please feel free to re-add the section once sources and permission has been granted.".
I would hope that people on Wikipedia would not have to be given said information with a tablespoon like I did just now to you and on the discussion page.
Second, using slurs on my talk page really shows me what kind of person you are. Thank you for proving to me that your "feelings" on the subject should be ignored. Havok (T/C) 19:17, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I never said I wasn't childish. :P Anyway, let's start over, I don't care to argue with anyone. We are all here to create the most comprehensive encyclopedia on the planet (with legal information). ;) Havok (T/C) 19:27, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo Fanboi?[edit]

I'm sorry, I take exception to you repeatedly calling me a Nintendo fanboy. I haven't owned a nintendo product since my old N64 when I was in undergrad. I just tried to add the DS and the PSP to the GCOTW, and grabbed random commentary from both of those pages figuring someone would come back later (or I would if I had time) and clean them up. Its nice to see that when I try to contribute to the project I get slammed.

I don't mind you cleaning them up for POV that I put in, but can you please drop the personal attacks? Remember to assume good faith in your other editors. --Syrthiss 20:16, 27 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pac-Man series template[edit]

I removed the Pac-Man series template from games that were not in the series or were not byte-for-byte clones (examples: Mouse Trap, Make Trax.) The template is big, gaudy, and doesn't have enough to do with those games to be relevant; a simple pointer to the Pac-Man article in the text of those articles is more appropriate.

Fair use images and templates[edit]

Unfortunately, Wikipedia policy is pretty clear on this subject. Wikipedia:Fair use says that fair use images "should only be used in the article namespace. They should never be used on templates (including stub templates and navigation boxes) or on user pages" (italicization mine). I think (and I was not party to the formulation of this policy, so I am just speculating) the reasoning is that we can only legally use copyrighted images to illustrate a specific point, and that the majority of these stubs are navigational aids that don't present real information in their own right. You should feel free to ask around on Wikipedia talk:Fair use, and maybe you'll have some luck in getting the policy changed. But until then, using fair use images in templates is a pretty explicit violation of Wikipedia policy. Sorry. – Seancdaug 18:02, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Gradius[edit]

Let us use Talk:Gradius_series as a platform for planning as well as discussions from this point. I keep forgetting what talk pages to check ;) Vic Vipr 23:29, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Salamander/Life Force; The user User:L. has recreated the article(s); Life Force (video game) and Life Force (arcade game) respectively. How do you suggest we proceed? The user strikes me as somewhat difficult to reason with. -Vic Vipr 22:13, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Italics in Titles (templates)[edit]

There's a discussion going on at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (titles) (should be at the bottom of the page) that I think you'd like to participate in. —Locke Cole (talk) (e-mail) 06:26, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Gradius Galaxies[edit]

Nice page! I like Gradius too. Keep up the good work. Shawnc 16:31, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

SG-1000[edit]

"reverted edits. the sg-1000 is the original console, so it should use the original image. the mark 2 is lesser known but still should be included. do not re-revert"

When the original image has been deleted (as is the case with a number of other console pages) using the only available image for the infobox is justified. - Diceman 18:37, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm requesting your opnion about this dispute. Lot of POV-Pushing, the article is currently blocked. --GroundZero 21:02, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
