Request from UCLA-LMP.

I need advice on how to add a <meta> keywords field to the top of the UCLA Language Materials Project article. I tried including it inside of {nowiki} brackets, but it displayed on the completed page anyway, so I deleted it. Now when I look at the source code, there is a keyword field but not the one I intended. It appears to have been automatically generated, and it doesn't have very good content.

Sorry. I'm a beginner in wikiland.

Hah, nobody welcomed you since September? - Well, about your question above, I don't know - we don't normally include much raw html markup into Wiki pages, most of it is supposed to be created automatically. In the case of your page, it seems the software got the list of keywords from the terms that were linked from on the page, right? But in any case, you shouldn't worry too much about it - I don't think it would be a good idea for Wiki editors to start trying to boost google search results for their pages in such a way anyway. Thanks. At the time I asked the question, Google wasn't finding my post at all. But it has since been indexed by Google, so I won't need the meta tags now. LMP-UCLA 22:53, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
