License tagging for Image:DreadCentralHP.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DreadCentralHP.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Please add content, not links[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your contributions. Unfortunately, the links you added to Dread Central in several articles seem a bit like spam, and I've removed them. Please do not add commercial links, links to your own private websites, or unnecessary links to Wikipedia. Even if your link features a story directly related to the topic of the article, Wikipedia is not a business directory, a vehicle for advertising, or a collection of external links. You are welcome to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia, provided it is in keeping with our guidelines. Rottentomatoes is a well respected long established site. You had links to a blog and to one columnist. Now the columnist is fine, but is not worthy as a sole source. I still don't see notability, but agree I was probably a bit hasty in permenantly protecting it, given that it is a real website that could become notable.

Here's the deal, Kwlow. You haven't been adding any content to Wikipedia. You've just been adding links to Dread Central and recreating the Dread Central article. This is little more than blatant advertising. Your comparison to Rotten Tomatoes holds no weight because Rotten Tomatoes is a very popular and influential website. People have continually warned you to stop adding links and you have ignored them and continued your same pattern of advertising. As far as I know, almost all of whatever popularity Dread Central might have could be due to your advertising here on Wikipedia. Totally unacceptable.
