I bring this up because your edit on Help:IPA/French did not appear constructive, and I'm not sure why you made that change. Even a short summary is better than none at all, and it's particularly important when making potentially controversial edits. Additionally, I noticed you marked this edit as "minor" incorrectly. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism.
