Vaasan sataman asema[edit]

Moi :) Ajattelin vain mainita, että loin juuri artikkelin Port of Vaasa. Tietääkseni siellä (Vaskiluodossa) on rautatieasema.

Konryusui (talk) 13:09, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kangasala railway station[edit]

On 22 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kangasala railway station, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the now-closed Kangasala railway station (pictured) in Finland was designed in the National Romantic style, unlike many contemporaneous buildings? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kangasala railway station. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kangasala railway station), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Congratulations[edit]

Your DYK hook about Kangasala railway station drew 5,160 page views (430 per hour) while on the Main Page. It is one of the most viewed hooks for the month of March as shown at March 2021 DYK STATS. Keep up the great work! Cbl62 (talk) 18:53, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Siuro railway station[edit]

On 31 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Siuro railway station, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Siuro railway station (pictured), located in the Finnish town of Nokia, was proclaimed a nationally significant built cultural environment by the Finnish Heritage Agency? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Siuro railway station. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Siuro railway station), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Haapamäki–Seinäjoki line[edit]

Hi — Since you previously so kindly assisted by creating an article on a Finnish railway station, I thought I'd push my luck and ask if you might do the same again and create one on the Haapamäki–Seinäjoki line? If you don't fancy doing that, no worries, but if you do, I'll include a redlink pointing to it, in an article I'm in the process of creating. Cheers, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:14, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll get on it ASAP. Happy to oblige :) Konryusui (talk) 15:18, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers! :) Let me know. For now, I decided not to redlink it (as I wasn't sure about the naming conventions for these things), but will link it once you tell me where it is. Kiitokset, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:54, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing: I went ahead and created a rather stubby page at Haapamäki–Seinäjoki railway. It's in dire need of work still, but it should be satisfactory for your purposes for now! Konryusui (talk) 20:27, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, that's great — many thanks! :) Much appreciated. Cheers, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:10, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating that, I wanted to ask but didn't dare push my luck. :) Cheers, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:25, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome to push your luck here anytime, I appreciate being given prompts from others :> Konryusui (talk) 11:27, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you say that! ;) Earlier I created the article Port of Loviisa, and because the port rail depot is the terminus of the Lahti-Loviisa line, I wanted to link to an article on it, but alas none exists (here's the Finnish one). Any chance...? Ta muchly, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:40, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting choice! This one is a bit more on the complicated side due to the history being divided between the private narrow gauge Loviisa-Vesijärvi line and the standard gauge VR Lahti-Loviisa line that succeeded it. I won't be shying away from it though, I'll get back to you in due time. Konryusui (talk) 11:45, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing: I've managed to start something up at Lahti–Loviisa railway; I still have a fair few sources to explore through, but it's in serviceable enough condition for now. Konryusui (talk) 14:33, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is super-duper, and such fast turn-around, too — I will defo be recommending you to anyone needing quality articles on Finnish railways and related subjects! :) Already linked to from my Port of Loviisa article. Many thanks again, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:52, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot :> As before, don't hesitate to ask if you have the slightest need for such a page. Konryusui (talk) 12:33, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A beer for you![edit]

Thanks for all your help — ja hölkyn kölkyn! -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:56, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kiitos, kippis ja kulaus! Konryusui (talk) 12:33, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
