Files for Deletion[edit]

I reverted your addition to Wikipedia:Files for deletion/2011 July 2 The files do not appear to be on this wiki and if they did a deletion request should have been filed on the entry for the current day not backdated. Maybe you had a different wiki in mind. Agathoclea (talk) 09:59, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Belgian population numbers[edit]

Hi! I agree that 2010 population numbers should be used. I don't know enough about how the Belgian city templates work however. I think you should bring up the issue at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Belgium, I'm sure the people there will know how to fix things. Good luck! AxelBoldt (talk) 21:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Writer's Barnstar
I award Klodde this barnstar for contributing a large body of content on Belgium localities that were previously missing from the English Wikipedia. CT Cooper · talk 16:00, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

KRC Bambrugge[edit]

Because even the league they are in does not have its own article. I was unsure if a club could be notable if its league is not notable. Plus I am unsure if the team is eligible to play in the Belgian FA's highest cup competition. Are there many other teams at their level with articles? The article FC Mere has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a Belgian club which never played above the country's provincial leagues or for the Belgian Cup. Fails WP:GNG and WP:FOOTYN.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of SK Aaigem for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article SK Aaigem is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SK Aaigem until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Kosm1fent 17:23, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a proposal to userfy the articles, in other words move them to your userspace e.g. FC Mere would be moved to User:Klodde/FC Mere. This will end the AfD and allow you to continue improving them in peace. When they all have enough sources, you can move them back to the mainspace. Would this be okay with you? CT Cooper · talk 12:22, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know, all the articles have been userfied, so you are free to continue working on them now for as long as you need, and they now won't be deleted unless they are left abandoned for a long period. Best of luck. CT Cooper · talk 18:38, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Belgium maps[edit]

Hi. My main problem with the Flanders map is that it makes no distinction between Brussels and the rest of Flanders. Brussels is a region of its own, and the overwhelming majority of its residents are Francophone, and the French Community serves them. To simply colour it the same as the rest of the region is deeply misleading. "Geographical Flanders" isn't really a thing either, nor is the article confined to geography; the nuances of the term 'Flanders' are so complicated that it has its own section in that article: Flanders#Terminology. Smaller problems are that the new maps show everything smaller; Brussels is barely visible, and the Wallonia map was reverted partly for this and partly to match Flanders. Oreo Priest talk 00:32, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The newer versions are better, thank you. I'm happy to let these stand. Oreo Priest talk 17:15, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
