Your Signature
Hi King Lopez, I just wanted to give you the heads up about your signature - after the "King" part of your sig, the "Lopez" begins on the line below. I've seen it happen twice now. Protection
The protecting admin can specify the period of protection. The default, which I nearly always use, is indefinite. However, sometimes other admins decide the protection has done its job and unprotect (although the article, as you suggest, is sometimes then recreated). Sometimes there is a good reason for lifting protection. An example would be were someone wants to create a proper article for a company name protected against repeated spam. Hi, King L. Sorry about the late reply — things have been pretty erratic on this end. I've been dipping my toe back in the Wiki-waters, but I still don't expect to spend as much time here as I once did.
Yes, I am a huge fan of Doctor Who. I'm actually one of the news editors on Outpost Gallifrey (although, being in the US, I don't have as much access to info as the UK-based editors).
Oh, and I did notice Jimbo in my sandbox — eventually! I don't mind, since I wasn't using that one for anything (I've got a couple of other sandboxes with half-finished projects I'll probably never get around to).
