A note of encouragement[edit]
Hey there, I hope you are not totally discouraged by the opinions that Hamilton County Democratic Party should be deleted. As editors here, we all must ask the question, "Does this belong in an encyclopedia?" and there are numerous guidelines to help us along that path. That being said, I know it is not easy to see an article you authored go down that path. Some of our best editors started out here by making one or more articles that didn't fit with Wikipedia's purpose - and they took note and carried on smartly. I hope you'll do the same. Here are some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

- Find everything in the Directory.
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, the Sandbox is for you.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random article button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
- If you have edits from before creating an account, see the page on changing attribution for edits.
- You can also upload images. Make sure you use the correct copyright tags when you do.
- Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

Be bold in updating pages! You can find instantaneous help any time simply by typing {{help}} anywhere on your own user or user talk page.

Thanks for uploading Image:AshleyPrange.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Thanks for uploading File:Scott Reske Official Statehouse Portrait.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en

I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
