Tamil is not the first language, please don't say it was

The first language might even not been spoken by Homo Sapiens - if it was, it was spoken in Africa and wasn't Tamil. Tamil does seem to be the oldest surviving language on the Indian sub-continent, but that doesn't make it the oldest in the world. That's probably Chinese. You would need reliable academic sources - independent sources, not Tamil or government, to make either of your claims. --Doug Weller talk 14:33, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
