December 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Wanderful Media has been reverted.
Your edit here to Wanderful Media was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/WanderfulMedia/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 23:14, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on "Rock the Earth" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 23:14, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Rock the Earth, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: "Rock the Earth". It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 23:40, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wanderful Media, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

August 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, KF330. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Please see the "Rock the Earth" logs, User:KF330/Virsto, and the "Wanderful Media" logs. Unforgettableid (talk) 04:09, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. A tag has been placed on Wanderful Media, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Small companies[edit]

Companies with under 350 employees normally get deleted. Please visit WP:42 then click the "Common outcomes" link at the bottom. If Wanderful ever reaches 2000 employees, then let's talk. Cheers! —Unforgettableid (talk) 05:59, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Wanderful Media for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Wanderful Media is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wanderful Media (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Unforgettableid (talk) 00:28, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I just thought I'd point out that just because unreliable or superfluous sources have not been removed from an article does not mean that they have been approved by the community. Generally, sources that support the claims, as long as they are reliable and provide coredepth, are not removed, even if they are superfluous to requirement. We do however remove sources that are links to promotional websites or social/B2B networking sites, and sites that are populated with content that is not audited. From this, we understand that simply a multiplicity of sources does not necessarily add to notability. Hope this helps. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:41, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative outlets[edit]

Hi again.

1. You don't have much time before the Wanderful Media AfD will likely close and the article will likely be deleted. May I suggest you save two copies of the article (one copy of the article's Wikicode, and one copy of the article's rendered text) so that, if you choose, you may recreate the article on one of the various alternative outlets available.

2. There is likely no point to keep on editing Wikipedia's Wanderful Media article, since it is on track for deletion. Once it is deleted, our readers will no longer be able to benefit from viewing your improvements.

Cheers! —Unforgettableid (talk) 03:41, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

For new community members, Wikipedia editing can be, at best, alienating, and at worst, aggressive and at times abusive. Attempting to learn Wiki coding and best practices as quickly as possible throughout the process, have requested guidance, addressed questions, but can't keep pace with deletion flags, user changed guidelines (see company size guidelines directly edited and then referenced above!) and various pages of debate. There are literally hundreds to thousands of organization entries in Wikipedia that appear to break notability and company size guidelines that have been referenced and continuously addressed. Sincere appreciation given to those who provided constructive feedback and criticism - and work to uphold the integrity of Wikipedia. KF330 (talk) 04:30, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We often try to help as best as we can, but one of the problems is that although many messages are placed by experienced users, some are templates. That said, the templates have been carefully worded to be as friendly as possible. Help is always available, please see some of the links in the welcome message above.
