Interstellar[edit]

Hello, regarding Interstellar (film), Syncopy is a production company doing the film. There is also another company, Lynda Obst Productions, doing the film. Both companies are under the studios Paramount, Warner Bros., and Legendary, as evidenced by the note linked in the infobox. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:01, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because the official website of Houston Film Critics Society or the other "official" media didn't tell anything about the nominees. Honestly, I don't believe the Awardsdaily.com as the source for Houston Film Critics Society 2016. You just give only one source about this, not more.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Casting JonBenet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6333052/plotsummary. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for March 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Steven Spielberg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Deadline. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Jvm21, you have not responded in this thread where a couple concerns were raised about your editing. Please note that WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA are policies you are expected to follow at all times. Also, repeatedly creating articles which don't meet notability guidelines is disruptive editing and could result in a block. If you don't agree with WP:NMOTORSPORT then please use that guideline's talk page to discuss your concerns. Thanks. --NeilN talk to me 16:47, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Jüri Vips[edit]

Hello Jvm21,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jüri Vips for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Non-notable racing drivers[edit]

Please stop creating articles for non-notable racing drivers. The guideline at WP:NMOTORSPORT is very clear and you have created a considerable number of articles that don't meet it, despite numerous editors advising you to familiarise yourself with the guideline and it's underlying policy. If you continue creating such articles, you are likely to be blocked for disruptive editing. GoldenRing (talk) 05:28, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 14 days for persisting in creating articles about non-notable drivers despite repeated warnings; it is very clear that you know that F4 drivers aren't notable per NMOTORSPORTS, so I have no idea why you have carried on doing it.. Black Kite) and various other users[edit]

Oh boy, you've really done it this time. It's clear to me that you and your cronies (including the likes of Corvus tristis) are a bunch of snobbish, control freaks who only delete stuff to meet your own selfish, close-minded agenda. Have you even read this essay on overzealous deletion? Or are you just too scared that it will fracture your egos? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Overzealous_deletion — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jvm21 (talkcontribs)

It seems that you can't even say a word without a personal attack and that you haven't read this essay completely. The essay also has section "Valid reasons to delete". Drivers like Mauricio Baiz fails to be notable on this stage of the racing career (as we can see he can't continue his racing career in 2017 and he wouldn't become a professional racing driver). It is a consensus of the WP:MOTOR community, which was reflected in the WP:NMOTORSPORT guideline. Corvus tristis (talk) 09:28, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wow Corvus, some users on Reddit are right. You really do act like you own everything. Here, have a read: https://www.reddit.com/r/F1FeederSeries/comments/6c5mib/wikipedia_articles_on_certain_feeder_series/

Wikipedia works on consensus and civility and your appear not to be able to follow either, despite being informed about them multiple times. Articles that fail the NMOTORSPORTS guideline will inevitably be deleted by PROD or AfD and this creates unnecessary work for others (hence "disruptive editing"). Whilst this keeps occurring, the results are unfortunately that you will be blocked. Black Kite (talk) 10:35, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jvm21, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Black Kite (talk) 19:19, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
