Speedy tagging[edit]

You tagged Halil Güven, a long-standing article, with WP:G11. You have almost no edits at Wikipedia. Do not tag any more articles.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:26, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I could have provided more reasoning behind me tagging the article.
First, it reads as a resume. The whole article needs to be rewritten to change this problem. Here are a few examples:
  • the numerous insignificant awards in the infobox.
  • It's written that "Prof. Güven took part in Harvard Graduate School of Education's “Harvard Seminar for New University Presidents” in 2000". To associate him with prestigious university Harvard they provide this. he apparently took part in some seminar and this needs to be in the summary and that's all it takes for Harvard to appear in the infobox.
You can read the rest of the article and verify that almost every sentence sounds corporate and most of the time is accompanied with no sources and invites you to think that it was written specifically for the advertisement purposes by the subject of the article or his close associates. This connect to the my second argument.
The subject of the article is unimportant and this is another criteria for speedy deletion WP:A7. I'm sure there are different metrics to measure person's importance. I'll provide my observation. You can easily see that the almost entire article is written by 3-4 people (all of them without a user page and all of them without contributions to any other article).
