December 2017

Hello. You are another addition in the list of users that insist on reverting my edits in 2017 without, apparently, having much, or any, knowledge about the people in question and frankly I am disappointed. I had started to think you are biased against Greeks in some way, but I see now that I am not the only one to have received this kind of special treatment, on your part. Still, I do not wish to engage in another edit war, so if you don't have any solid proof that these people's contribution is insignificant compared to others' in this section, please do not make changes.–Chris Liak (talk) 11:45, 7 December 2017 (UTC)

This issue isn’t the bias, the issue is you’re adding people from months ago without using the talk page. There’s a reason why there’s a talk page to debate about stuff to be added, but you’re not using it at all. Instead, you’re just adding you’re edits and saying you’re absolutely right with no discussion. I’d recommend you use the talk page so the people you’re continually adding may have a chance of being added to the 2017 page. Otherwise, myself and others may continue to revert your edits. Personal attacks and civility

Regarding your comments over at Talk:2018, you might want to familiarize yourself with the policy on personal attacks. Accusing someone of making attacks without providing evidence of those attacks can be considered an attack in itself, so you need to be careful with that. From my interpretation of your comment, the behavior you objected to isn't making personal attacks but rather violating the civility policy, namely the first tenet: Participate in a respectful and considerate way. Personal attacks are taken more seriously than many other violations of the civility policy. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, JoeyRuss. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
