Order of the Arrow userbox

The userbox you created {{User Order of the Arrow}} contains a fair use image. It is generally agreed that fair use images cannot be used in userboxes. You may want to change to a "free use" image to prevent disruptions. You should also consider using the already established {{User Arrowman}} as a substitute. --NThurston 22:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Get Crazy

Hi Kevin, great article you started there! I added categories and refreshed the infobox code. It has enough content to become class stat easily (and not too far from class B even). If you can form two of the required sections (see upgrading instructions in the talk page) it's there. I would say "Production" and "Reception" can be split off the lead section and expanded a bit. Cheers! Hoverfish Talk 08:26, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for the pointers on improving the Get Crazy entry. I added some sections (Production, Reception, Soundtrack) and put some research into them, along with a bit of reorganization of other facts that fit those sections. Kevin Forsyth 15:24, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Good work! I am not good in assessing beyond class start, but from experience I know it's close to class B. Although I do a lot of work for WP Films, I'm often not sure when a film is a "Musical". Imdb makes a distinction between musicals and music films. However we don't seem to have Category:Music films. Would you say that this film belongs to Category:Musicals? Hoverfish Talk 16:43, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Is it a musical? Interesting question. (My first thought is to say it's not like a typical musical, where characters burst into song to express their feelings or dramatize a plot point — but whether or not that's a fair way of categorizing a musical is a whole different question.) It's more like The Blues Brothers, where musical performances are an integral part of the film. I see BB is tagged with "Category:Musical comedy films" — perhaps that's a good place for Get Crazy. On the other hand, the "Musical films" category is more broad-ranging and includes plenty of movies that are similar in use of music, such as Nashville... so I'd go with two categories, "Comedy films" and "Musical films". Updated DYK query On 15 March, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Get Crazy, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Chicago Board of Trade Building

You made some intersting contributions to Chicago Board of Trade Building, which was a recent WP:CHICOTW. Since it will be nominated as a WP:GAC in the near future, it would be great if you could add citations in keeping with much of the other editorial work on the page. TonyTheTiger (talk/cont/bio) 00:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I added a couple of references to Chicago Board of Trade Building, as I could. Unfortunately I don't have a good (print) reference for the item about the pedestrian bridge over Van Buren being closed — this is info I learned in conversation with CBT's Director of Security in 2004. This one was quite a team effort. I thank you for your help. You may want to post this on your user page: (FA userbox moved) TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 22:21, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Walter Adams

I was going over my list of people/things I should eventually write Wikipedia articles about, and I was delighted to discover that (since I last checked) you provided a great one for Walter Adams. Kudos and thanks! Kestenbaum 16:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Editorial assistance

I apologize for not recognizing you earlier. I am just getting familiar with this type of userbox. You may want to place the following on your user page: (GA userbox moved) TonyTheTiger (talk/cont/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:00, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, and a suggestion

THANKS for your many nifty edits fixing things in Croton Dam (Michigan)... much appreciated. Also, I noticed this Image:Checker A-11 Taxicab 1982.jpg ... since it's freely licensed would you consider moving it to Commons so all projects can use it, not just this one? I have to get out to the Gilmore one of these days, I hear it's pretty neat. BTW my daughter started MSU this year. Happy editing! ++Lar: t/c 18:08, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks again for your help with this article. It was recently nominated for GA and passed. ++Lar: t/c 16:01, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I made some suggestions at Get Crazy's peer review. --BelovedFreak 19:24, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Walter Adams (economist)

The article Walter Adams (economist) you nominated as a good article has failed , see Talk:Walter Adams (economist) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a reassessment.
