As per your comments on WT:SPOILER, I would hope that you consider writing up your ideas into a guideline form. The curent guideline isn't going to fly; hopefully by offering a clear-cut alternative it can accelerate a compromise.

You can create an additional user page, like I have: User:David Fuchs/draft. Just add a slash and then the name of the page and you add to your directory, so to speak.
