Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Aragon Ballroom (Chicago), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Puerto Rican (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Isabella Tena

Hello AntonioMartin,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Isabella Tena for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

A tag has been placed on Category:Trinitarian male boxers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —swpbT go beyond 15:05, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

The article Cynthia Horner has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Flight Miniatures

Hello there, I was browsing Wikipedia like I usually do when I stumbled across the page for Flight Miniatures. Being that this article was made in the early days of Wikipedia (2003), I figured there might be some non-internet reference materials. I was wondering if you had access to any of them, considering you wrote the original article way back then.

Current Sports News listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Current Sports News. Since you had some involvement with the Current Sports News redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. UnitedStatesian (talk) 16:34, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Inappropriate page move

I have reverted your move of Superxclusivo to La comay as it was made contrary to the outcome of a requested move on the article's talk page at Talk:Superxclusivo#Requested move 4 February 2019. Per the outcome of the requested move, you are free to create a separate article for La comay but Superxclusivo should not be moved there. If you think the page should be moved instead of creating an article, please feel free to open another move discussion on the talk page. --AussieLegend () 19:27, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

An article you recently created, North Korea at the 1978 Asian Games, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can develop the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for June 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nino Segarra, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alberto Testa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Notice

The article Ronalda Pierce has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Likely didn't pass WP:GNG at the time of her death. Only source is not available. A search found some passing references, and a basketball invitational named after her, but that's it. At the time of her death, she had nothing to associate fame with her, other than a promising future.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

You made this article more than 15 years ago. Quite remarkable length of service you have here :) I think the standards for inclusion of such an article have changed since that time. Feel free to deprod if you like, but I haven't found anything significant to sustain her notability. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:12, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

Notice

The article Halaevalu Mata'aho has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references.

Fram (talk) 10:37, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

Paradise Airlines Flight 901A

You've twice added a "see also" section to the Paradise Airlines Flight 901A article that contains a link to a disambiguation page. Please refer to MOS:NOTSEEALSO. "The "See also" section should not link to pages that do not exist (red links), nor to disambiguation pages..." (emphasis added). Thanks. RecycledPixels (talk) 16:02, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

Greetings!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.

On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:

  • Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
  • Diversity winner
  • Gender-gap fillers

For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).--Jamie Tubers (talk) 00:50, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
