Hi there!

Would you mind having a look at those two topics of mine, on the bottom of Nomi's discussion page?

Cheers, Alex

ps: Actually, only the last one applies to the changes you've recently made.

  • ==>Talk:Klaus Nomi:I've added a couple more thoughts there. Hope I made my self clear this time!
  • Those Page-Currie examples really got me thinking (Byrne's Big Suit phase as well). It turns out that you might be right after all. It's probably only sensible to keep the associated acts feature as tight as possible (i.e. former bands or sine qua non collaborators). Otherwise, some artists will end up with an infobox in the size of an article in itself. Nevertheless, don't you think that Nomi's influence on Bowie's early 80's period should somehow be brought up (more extensively) in, say, his "Influence and cultural significance" section? I was also wondering if you could expand a bit his albums' articles, in terms of featured musicians and/or footnotes (since you got records of his). To end with, ain't about time that Total Eclipse gets an article of its own?

A tag has been placed on Sector 27 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion declined: Damir Bjelopoljak[edit]

Hello Jdubowsky. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Damir Bjelopoljak, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A couple similar bios have been deleted at AFD lately, but this isn't an A7. Thank you. Courcelles 09:03, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: SonBinh Nguyen[edit]

Hello Jdubowsky. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of SonBinh Nguyen, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Folks that hold named professorships aren't A7 candidates in any respect. Thank you. Courcelles 09:04, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
