August 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from America's Next Top Model, Cycle 16. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Thank you for your efforts on the contestant progress section. Please be aware that there is an existing consensus on how to style these. The light green is reserved for contestants who were nominated by Chef Ramsay but prevailed in elimination. The red color is for those contestants that are eliminated from competition for any nomination reason. The brown color is for those contestants that withdraw from competition (for medical reasons or quiting). Please respect the consensus or feel free to open a discussion about it. Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

You recently made a submission to Articles for Creation. Your article has been reviewed and because some issues were found, it could not be accepted in its current form; it is now located at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jenah Doucette. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. Feel free to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit once you feel they have been resolved. (You can do this by adding the text {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to the top of the article.) Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! mabdul 12:00, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because their license is compatible with ours, you can reuse their material, but their content is not public domain. You legally cannot reuse it without giving credit to the author. I will add the attribution template for you in this instance, but please do not copy content from anywhere else unless you are sure you know how to do so in accordance with copyright policies and guidelines. See Wikipedia:Copy-paste. Continuing to copy content outside of these policies is likely to result in your account being blocked, and it would be much better to work out how to handle the issues before that happens. If you have questions about copyright, you are welcome to come by my talk page.

Problems with upload of File:Antm4.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Antm4.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More information needed about File:ANTM 18.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ANTM 18.jpg. However, it needs some more work before it is okay to use on Wikipedia.

September 2012[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 09:51, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify, there is a very clear message in the "Photo shoot guide" section of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19 indicating that you need to "comply with Wikipedia's Manual of Style, especially MOS:BOLD, MOS:CAPS and WP:OVERLINK" when editing the section. You deleted the message when you restored edits that contravened both MOS:BOLD and MOS:CAPS.[2] I've reverted that edit as vandalism, since you were clearly aware of the note and you have been editing the article long enough to know that such edits are inappropriate. Please do not restore non-compliant edits again. --AussieLegend (talk) 09:57, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unconstructive editing at America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19[edit]

This is unconstructive. Instead of making the article non-compliant with the Manual of Style, you should be fixing other articles so that they do comply. Directing editors to force non-compliance, as you did here is inappropriate and bordering on vandalism. In this edit you removed a still valid {{ref improve}} template without explanation, which warrants a warning on its own. Adding {{italic title}} is pointless as {{Infobox television season}} already italicises the title, although only America's Next Top Model should be italicised. Changing first_aired is bordering on vandalism. Please edit constructively in future, respecting the Manual of Style and other policies and guidelines. --AussieLegend (talk) 05:01, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there something above that you find difficult to understand?[3][4] This edit just makes no sense at all. It's impossible to understand what you're having problems with if you refuse to explain, or even make a simple reply. -- AussieLegend () 07:59, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jenah Doucette, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Your article submission Jenah Doucette[edit]

Hello Jayven09maddie. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Jenah Doucette.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jenah Doucette}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 17:00, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 04:21, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one day for edit warring, as you did at Pinoy Big Brother: All In. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Vietnam's Next Top Model (cycle 6), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Breakfast at Tiffany's. Information icon Hello, I'm Linguist111. I noticed that you made a change to an article, America's Next Top Model (cycle 18), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. File permission problem with File:India'sNTM2.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:India'sNTM2.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:16, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:America's Next Top Model (cycle 23) promotional photo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Orphaned non-free image File:Bubble Gang Bente Dos.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Bubble Gang Bente Dos.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:08, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Notice

The file File:PHNTM Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:PolNTM8Cast.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PolNTM8Cast.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 11:45, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Top Model (Polish season 9) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Top Model (Polish season 9), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 02:32, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:PolNTM9Cast.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:PNTM9 Cast.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PNTM9 Cast.png.

Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:50, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
