June 2022[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Firoz Shah Tughlaq. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Packer&Tracker (talk) 14:09, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Saadullah Khan (Mughal Empire), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Packer&Tracker (talk) 15:35, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Khokhar. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. please don't edit war, the dynasty is a Sayyid dynasty, the possibilities to the background has been shared on the dynasty page. There is no reason to add this dynasty on Khokhar based on Eaton, most other writers don't say the same. Akalanka820 (talk) 11:40, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Akalanka820 Go argue with Digby or Eaton
I only cited their books Jat1321 (talk) 12:05, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
there are various such references. As we can see Eaton's point is already added on main dynasty page. You cannot use that to add it everywhere, when there are lots of contrary references to it. Here- :

The first of these two dynasties was founded by Khizr Khan, who bore the appellation 'Sayyid', which identified him as a descendant of prophet Muhammad, so the dynasty he founded came to be known as the Sayyid dynasty. The veracity of Khizr Khan's claimed lineage is uncertain, but it is likely that his forebears were Arabs, who had migrated to India in the early Tughluq period and settled in Multan. The family prospered in India, gaining wealth and power. This advancement culminated in Malik Suleiman, Khizr Khan's father, becoming the governor of Multan under the Tughluqs. When Suleiman died, Khizr Khan succeeded him to the post, but lost it during the political turmoil following the death of Firuz Tughluq.[1]

and many such references. Akalanka820 (talk) 12:05, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
now please stop adding stuffs which look like pov. A writer took a different stand than others doesn't mean you can use it on all pages to push it. The points of Eaton are added on main dynasty page. Thanks Akalanka820 (talk) 12:09, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Akalanka820 Sure, Thanks Jat1321 (talk) 12:15, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022[edit]

Information icon It may not have been your intention, but one of your edits may have been a change that some consider controversial. Due to this, your edits may have been reverted. When making possibly controversial changes, it is good practice to first discuss your edit on the article's talk page before making it, to gain consensus over whether or not to include the text, phrasing, etc. If you believe that the information you added was correct, please initiate that discussion. PS:- The author you cited was a Civil servant in Raj era, apart from being obviously dated/archaic, it's not a WP:HISTRS to push for such absurd claims. ∆ P&t ♀√ (talk) 04:47, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have reverted your edit on Khokhar page, you added it even after explaining you the counter viewpoint to it here- [[1]], only Eaton and Digby took a different line, other writers aren't saying the same. Please, stop pushing a particular pov based on just 2 writers contrary to what it has been on the main Sayyid Dynasty page. Akalanka820 (talk) 07:47, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing information based on the way you view topics[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Gujarat Sultanate. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted. You removed information that was properly cited based on the way you view the topic. At least three sources were given from recognized authors, you removed them. @GujaratiHistoryinDNA I believe you have left the message on the wrong page because I have not removed anything from that page
