March 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm James086. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Traffic ticket, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks, James086Talk 18:27, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit was in order to link to Avvo, not to improve the article. All of your edits are linking to or related to that site. Wikipedia is not for advertising, please do not attempt to game the system under the guise of referencing. Nowhere on that page you linked to was there information regarding a mitigation hearing, which is what you were "referencing". James086Talk 18:47, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Response: Again, James086, Avvo is a free legal resource with over 130,000 active and participating attorneys. There is a plethora of legal knowledge available at the site, and if I choose to reference their content, I sincerely believe that they should be cited as the source. Jakemartin206 (talk) 18:53, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That YouTube video you linked to me is a promotional piece. You should cite sources that are as neutral as possible, that is far from it. Take your shilling elsewhere (to the YouTube comments for example). James086Talk 19:04, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have requested a second opinion of your edits here. James086Talk 19:30, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jakemartin206. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Mark Britton".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mark Britton}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:00, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
