Hey Javier, I did some further investigations again today. Even though I didn't find the nominations, I found out that the first awards occurred on May 31, 1989 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. According to the Hispanic Link Weekly Report, it says that Lalo Rodriguez won 3 out of 4 awards, meaning there was one award he didn't win.
