I'd be grateful if you would now refrain entirely from editing the J. G. Hertzler, adding any J. G. Hertzler-related content to other wikipedia articles, and to stop blanking talk:J. G. Hertzler. Should you do any of these, your account may be blocked.

Whereas we understand you are keen to see J. G. Hertzler properly represeted on wikipedia (in whatever terms make sense to you), you seem to fail to understand that wikipedia only works when people follow rules, such as the use of reliable sources; or policies, such as users more interested in the subject than the enyclopedia refraining from editing articles.

You have been pointed at, but now blanked the pointers to helpful pages such as WP:N, WP:V and WP:COI. Fred Frankhouse[edit]

Hi there, you should probably take a look at WP:Citation overkill, as the article is very over referenced. We don't have to source everything in the opening and then again in the body, just the body. For example, you have three references in opening lifespan for date of birth, and then use the same to source date of birth in text. The same goes for pretty much the entire introduction. There not needed in opening as the same references are sourcing the same information in the body. Taking the sources out of the opening and moving them to body reduces clutter, helps readability and follows manual of style. I would have done this for you, but I thought you might not understand why and revert me, so I figured it was better to just explain here. The policy I mentioned explains this better than I can. I don't know how to cite these? I've tried to put in the cite tags manually, but I blow everything up. I'm an attorney, not a code-wonk. I also need to cite the direct code, don't I? If you, or someone, can help, I can provide source. The pictures are all referenced in citation #3. (The photos are all public domain). The direct quote in the quote template contains the source/reference, however, if the online source is needed, it's citation #16. Again, I don't know how to insert these cites, I need assistance. Thanks for helping me out with this....much appreciated. I was pretty indignant when I stumbled across this ball player and saw the incredibly anemic article. I'm a huge fan of baseball, especially of this era. Thanks for the kind words...I worked on this in my sandbox for several days. I was a bit worried about just dropping in the huge change. I did a bunch of cleanup to the article. There are some issues with the sourcing used however, which I described in the baseball WikiProject page. Please try to replace those sources if you can, as the article has a really good start. Many of these citations to those two sources can be replaced with Baseball Reference and SABR, and the Google News archives is another good place to look. How was a determination made that the photos are under copyright protection? I can attest that, in fact, the photos are not under copyright. The Frankhouse/Ruth photo and the Bees/Umpire/Frankhouse photos are both in the public domain. Additionally, I know who owns the originals (taken by a family member and passed down)and can scan copies of the originals if necessary. @Prevan and @Wizardman I'm using this space to answer questions posed on the Fred Frankhouse "view history" page. I reverted the page to restore the public domain photographs that had been removed. As an attorney, I understand the concerns of displaying proprietary information. A release is being emailed to the WikiCommons email address in the templated format as per a request I received. Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Fred Frankhouse. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!!
