Hi, thanks for your message. I do not really have any particular political belief at all in Bangladeshi politics. So, there is no issue on whether I am pro or against any political figure. As for the edit you refer to, the BBC article makes a speculative comment (and not a fact) about the case at the last sentence. While we can definitely use the info about the verdict from this article, the last comment is speculative and not encyclopedic. If you have more details about the case, feel free to add to the sentence. Finally, how do we know that the verdict is a "landmark" verdict? References from reliable third parties that term it a landmark verdict can support this statement, but otherwise we can't just claim it to be a landmark case. You are always very much welcome to add to the article. On a related note, you might expand his personal life section ... that is missing from the article at this moment. HM Ershad

I am surprised at the almost word to word cited contributions and countless re-writes made by you. I am not an Ershad supporter at all (coming from Rangpur where Ershad has a Divine status I shock people); but as I have a prime ethic I found it to be almost impossible to challenge your work with such near perfect citations.

As such I even contributed to the article in a positive manner. One thing I learned at this point of life is that one should not have a pre-determined mind-set and be influenced by others. Autocratic or not, corrupt or not, it seems [Ershad] did extensive work for the Bangladesh and its people. These politician of today like Khaleda Zia, Hasina, Tareq and Babar make this former military man look like a pickpocketer compared the the outright allegations I find against that these Begums and Tareque among others are. His corruption is no corruption. Pity he is the only top ranking politician in Bangladesh to be ever convicted and serve a jail term for corruption.

I am still not a supporter of [Jatya Party] but living in Gulshan, I finally decided to rethink my attitude towards Ershad and learned a great deal about him which favored him. Subsequently I did cast my vote for him in Dec 2009 which is a direct result of this this article (at least 80% of your contributions is here).I have decided to rethink about my attitude towards this particular ex-Head of State although being a hard line Awami League supporter. Thank you for your enquiry Mr. Ragib. Allow me to clear your doubt, the photograph is from my family album. Before uploading the photograph I discussed the eligibility at wikipedia-en-helpity and I was assured it is alright to proceed and the tag used was the most appropriate one. The photographer passed away in either 1998 or 1999 to the best of my knowledge. You stated that "it is very important", may I ask why? --Incognito1980 06:24, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your clarification. If it is from your family album, then it is ok. Of course, the license would have to be changed slightly ... right now you claim that you are the "creator" of the work, which according to your reply above is not entirely correct. Anyway, I mentioned "it is very important" because you had earlier several problems with image copyrights, and had uploaded images copied from various websites. "Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive

Hey y'all, the April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive begins at 00:01 UTC on April 1, 2021 and runs through 23:59 UTC on April 31, 2021. Points can be earned through reviewing articles on the AutoCheck report, reviewing articles listed at WP:MILHIST/ASSESS, reviewing MILHIST-tagged articles at WP:GAN or WP:FAC, and reviewing articles submitted at WP:MILHIST/ACR. Service awards and barnstars are given for set points thresholds, and the top three finishers will receive further awards.
