@Egeymi: can you clarify what you mean by "already covers the others"? What others?

If you look at the content of House of Saud you will see there are other subcategories such as sons of ibn saud, etc. So using this cat, House of Saud, is redundant or repetition. --Egeymi (talk) 20:10, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rashaida Dialect of Arabic[edit]

Hey I noticed that you keep changing the dialect section of the Rashaida page. The Rashaida tribe's Arabic is closer to Hejazi than Najdi Arabic. They originated from the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia hence their dialect would be closer to Hejazi Arabic. Their variety of Arabic is influenced by both Hejazi and Najdi Arabic however Rashaida Arabic is closer to Hejazi Arabic,as their dialect shares similar grammar, syntax, and vocabulary with Hejazi Arabic. The reason for this is due to the similar cultural and linguistic origins of the Rashaida people and their migration from the Arabian peninsula particularly the Hejaz region.Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 02:26, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You'll have to get a source for that. The source I cited says otherwise. And all videos I can find of their dialect clearly shows a dialect of Najdi type ([1] [2] [3]).
To clarify, Najdi Arabic as defined by Ingham encompasses most of bedouin dialects in Hejaz. High surv (talk) 09:24, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
