Ostrich feeding[edit]

I noticed that you added almost an entire section on Ostrich Feeding, I do not believe this section is pertinent on Wikipedia as per This Policy, I am going to delete this section and apologize if I have offended. speednat (talk) 23:45, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fisrt,, the section is a how to on feeding and caring for ostriches. Just because it does not use the words "How To" does not mean it isn't. It is plainly an instruction guide for the proper feeding of ostriches. At the very least The Ostrich article deserves to not have that on its page as it is a acientific article on ostriches, not on the care of them. If you feel it is pertinent, I would create a new article, and put it under "see also". I edited the article a while back and I don't know how I missed that section.
Second, let me apologize if I offended, and making the assumption that you created the section. The section was only improved by you. If you feel really strongly about it, keep in mind I am just like you, a person with an opinion, and mine could be as wrong as I felt that section was. So, If you feel strongly, create a section on the talk page, and feel free to discuss it with the other members of the community. Again, I did not mean to offend, only to improve the article and I always try to let people know when I change something they have added. speednat (talk) 16:14, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
