Notability of The Wheelhouse[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Wheelhouse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Angus Lepper(T, C, D) 16:05, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May 2008[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.--John (talk) 14:33, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. |Andy Walker (footballer)PwnerELITE (talk) 04:18, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008[edit]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Andy Walker (footballer). J.delanoygabsanalyze 04:22, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Boathouse restaurant"[edit]

A page you created, Boathouse restaurant, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thanks. Jclemens (talk) 04:43, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

Please be aware that trivia sections are discouraged. The edit you made to the rosé article was a trivia section that contained information irrelevant to the subject. A good guideline to remember is: if a trivial fact can't reasonably be incorporated into the rest of the article somehow to illuminate the article's subject, it doesn't need to be mentioned. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:04, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
