August 2013[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 20Ten, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 19:15, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PCR[edit]

Hi, I see you are changing many references to real-time PCR to quantitative PCR even when this is not supported by the sources cited. Also, I disagree that quantitative PCR is used as extensively as you imply. QPCR is used in viral load assays, but real time PCT is still used in most applications. Please review your edits to confirm that the sources given support the changes. In one edit you changed the title of a citation: (Stránská R, Schuurman R, de Vos M, van Loon AM (2004). "Routine use of a highly automated and internally controlled real-time PCR assay for the diagnosis of herpes simplex and varicella-zoster virus infections". J. Clin. Virol. 30 (1): 39–44. doi:10.1016/j.jcv.2003.08.006. PMID 15072752. {{cite journal}}: Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link)) - you must not do this. Stop icon Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at 20Ten. Such attempts to avoid detection, or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dan56 (talk) 11:12, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
