I used to be HMSSolent before I lost access to my old account, having changed my password in April but I've forgotten it since. As the login was saved for a month or more I was able to continue editing until yesterday when I was logged out of the HMSSolent account. This was exacerbated by the lack of an email address, and I spent those months trying to figure out the last digits of my password prior to the log out. How do I prove that I owned the old HMSSolent account? lavender|(formerlyHMSSolent|lambast 12:53, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you not do something with the committed identity? Thanks, Matty.007 13:11, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This looks dodgy: you are likely an imposter, see [1] HMSSolent's contributions. Matty.007 13:12, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, misread message. Matty.007 13:14, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. It's just an idea and I don't know if it leads somewhere, but could it be that STiki (which I saw on your old user page you use) saves your password, or saves some other data that you could retrieve? Or maybe a password hash that a high-permission user could use to compare? ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 13:39, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Twsx: I asked Nick, who said that the committed identity was a dead end. Thanks, Matty.007 13:42, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, STiki won't save any of my login details - once closed, you're automatically logged out, and you will need to re-enter your password (although your username is saved). Same goes for HG, although again the username is saved for the next login. lavender|(formerlyHMSSolent|lambast 14:44, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ANZ Tech Ltd[edit]

I withdrew the speedy deletion tag that I placed on the article, leaving your refimprove tag in place. I am not sure that the article should remain but it may be enough for now to note its deficiencies. Also, I was having trouble with the links but I think that was my mistake and did not give me a basis for the tag. I am advising you in the event you saw the later tag. I have made two definite mistakes tonight and do not want to leave any additional wrong impressions if possible. Donner60 (talk) 05:13, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. Metropolitan Fresno[edit]

I added the ??? on Metropolitan Fresno because I could not find a tag to use that would refer to this kind of problem. I meant to refer to the sentence, " Fresno County is the largest agricultural county and has the largest concentration of agriculture than any other county in the United States." I understand what this means but it is unclear and not grammatically correct.2601:640:4001:266C:8A63:DFFF:FEA6:9C8D (talk) 15:45, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I Am No Longer Swaggy[edit]

Apology
Dear HMSLavender,

My name is Swaggy Craig2, the Wikipedia vandal whose "contributions" to the page Swag (TV Show) you recently undid. As you will have noticed, I retaliated by vandalizing your user page and describing you as being "un-swaggy". However, while I was reviewing the changes I made, I saw an earlier edit that you had made, stating that you recently suffered a significant loss. I am therefore taking this opportunity to express my sincere condolences for the loss of your grandfather, and to apologize for my actions. What I did went against the principles of the Swag Code, and even by Wikipedia vandals' standards, targeting someone who is in a period of grief is supremely un-swaggy. From this point on I will cease my vandalism, because it is unfair of me to waste the time of you and other Wikipedia users with my asinine behaviour. Thank you for continuing to be truly swaggy, even during these hard times. Swaggy Craig2 (talk) 07:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wrongful edit deletion[edit]

Wrongful edit deletion
How is that edit not helpful to the article? Its a link to the original audio file spoken by a butanese citizen Xaneks (talk) 03:38, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It was basically an earlier recording of the spoken version of the spoken article, and as such, it isn't appropriate for this article - it also ended up becoming a meme; it fits more into Bhutanese passport (meme) as an external link. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:46, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Darwin_OP[edit]

I just would like to add more two applications to Darwin_OP page, because I worked on those. They are:

Darwin Carrying Buckets of water - UNLV(University of Nevada Las Vegas) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s7_nPoTLMI

Darwin operating a forklift - UNLV(University of Nevada Las Vegas) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl5pMTLg6gU

I have two dedicated pages for those projects

http://dasl.mem.drexel.edu/wiki/index.php/Driving_Version_1

http://dasl.mem.drexel.edu/wiki/index.php/Carrying_Buckets_of_water

Could you please add these two concluded projects in that table? I will appreciate if you could add some references in the Darwin OP page... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARwIn-OP

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
